Specifications

Description
Chemokine (C-X3-C motif) receptor 1 (CX3CR1) is an HIV coreceptor and also a leukocyte chemotactic/adhesion receptor for fractalkine, also known as neurotactin. CX3CR1 mediates chemotactic responses to the soluble form of fractalkine in neutrophils and T cells, and cytoadhesion to cells expressing membrane-anchored fractalkine, such as monocytes, T cells, and neutrophils. Cells transfected with CX3CR1 exhibited chemotaxis and transient increases in intracellular calcium concentration when exposed to fractalkine. References: The UniProt Consortium. Performing IHC? See our complete line of Immunohistochemistry Reagents including antigen retrieval solutions, blocking agents ABC Detection Kits and polymers, biotinylated secondary antibodies, substrates and more.
Usage
Immunohistochemistry: The unconjugated form was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for the unconjugated form was determined to be 5-10 ug/ml.
Presentation
PBS, 0.1% Sodium Azide
