Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Galago, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Elephant, Panda, Dog, Bovine, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Opossum, Guinea pig, Platypus (100%); Bat (92%).
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: add glycerol to 40-50%, aliquot to avoid freeze-thaw cycles, and store at -20°C. Protect from light.
CSRP3 is a member of the CSRP family of LIM domain proteins, which may be involved in regulatory processes important for development and cellular differentiation. The LIM/double zinc-finger motif found in this protein is found in a group of proteins with critical functions in gene regulation, cell growth, and somatic differentiation. Mutations in this gene are thought to cause heritable forms of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in humans.
