Immunohistochemistry Services

Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

TCR Screening Services

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specifications

Description
GM-CSF antibody LS-C104671 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to human GM-CSF (CSF2 ). Validated for ELISA and WB. Cited in 1 publication.
Target
Human CSF2 / GM-CSF
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated. Also available conjugated with Biotin.
Purification
Immunoaffinity purified
Modifications
Unmodified
Applications
  • Western blot (0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml)
  • ELISA (0.5 - 2 µg/ml)
  • (applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Immunogen
E.coli derived recombinant Human GM-CSF.
Specificity
Human GM-CSF
Usage
Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human cervical squamous cell carcinoma. The recommended concentration is 0.25 ug/mL with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND] of the biological activity of hGM-CSF (1 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.13-0.20 ug/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect hGM-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human GM-CSF (LS-C104714) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hGM-CSF. Western Blot: To detect hGM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hGM-CSF is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Presentation
Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in sterile water to 0.1-1 mg/ml.
Storage
Store Lyophilized at room temperature up to 1 month; Reconstituted for up to 2 weeks at 2°C to 8°C. Aliquot and freeze at -20°C for long term storage. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
