Synthetic human/rat CRF covalently attached onto a carrier protein.
Specificity
Recognizes Corticotropin Releasing Factor (human, rat) and the reactivity of Corticotropin Releasing Factor (ovine) is less than 0.1%. Does not react to ACTH, Calcitonin (salmon), PTH (human 1-84) and Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide. Tested by RIA techniques for recognition and immunoprecipitation of CRF and related molecules. Specific for CRF and can be used to immunoprecipitate CRF from cell and tissue extracts.
