CREB5 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide located between aa47-96 of human CREB5 (Q02930, NP_878902). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Galago, Marmoset, Rat, Elephant, Dog, Rabbit, Horse, Pig (100%); Mouse, Opossum (92%); Guinea pig, Zebra finch, Chicken, Platypus (85%).
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

CREB5 belongs to the CRE (cAMP response element)-binding protein family. Members of this family contain zinc-finger and bZIP DNA-binding domains. The encoded protein specifically binds to CRE as a homodimer or a heterodimer with c-Jun or CRE-BP1, and functions as a CRE-dependent trans-activator. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
