Purified human skin chymase. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic.
Recognizes human mast cells in routinely fixed tissues, and has been used to study the distribution of mast cells in skin, synovium, lung and heart. Binding of this antibody to chymase is not reduced in the presence of heparin, suggesting that the antibody does not bind to the heparin-binding domain of chymase.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive control: Tonsil.
10 mM PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% Sodium Azide, 0.2% BSA
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
