Synthetic peptide derived from the C-Terminus of human OSP/Claudin-11, which differs by only one amino acid from mouse and rat sequences.

C-Terminus

Specific for human OSP/Claudin-11. Single band at ~22kD is observed when using this antibody at 0.5 ug/ml or less in mouse brain homogenates. An additional band of ~44kD representing the dimerized protein may be observed at 1 ug/ml. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse. Species sequence homology: Rat.

Immunoprecipitation (Mouse): 1-10 ug/ml using NP40-mouse brain homogenates, but not for RIPA-buffer mouse brain homogenates after treating with SDS-out. The protein may have precipitated out of solution along with the SDS.
