Anti-CIITA was produced by repeated immunizations with CIITA peptide corresponding to a region near the N-terminus of the human protein conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH).

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified CIITA [Human]. Cross reactivity against CIITA from other species may occur but have not been specifically determined.

Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. This product has been assayed by immunoblot against CIITA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Rabbit IgG [H&L] (Goat) catalog no. LS-C60884 and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1000 is suggested for this product. BEST RESULTS ARE OBTAINED USING 0.03% (v/v) Triton X-100 IN BUFFERS. Do not supplement buffers with Tween-20 detergent.
