Specificity
Recognizes the human cell surface antigen Fas (~43kD) expressed in various human cells, including myeloid cells, T lymphoblastoid cells and diploid fibroblasts. This antibody does not recognize TNF and does not cross-react with mouse Fas.

Usage
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunocytochemistry. Apoptosis: >15 ng/ml maximally induced apoptosis of human Jurkat cells with 80-90% mortality after 24 hours of treatment. This lot has an ID50 of 1.0 ng/ml in apoptosis assays. Western Blot: 0.5-2 mg/ml. Immunocytochemistry: 5-10 mg/ml o. Flow cytometry: Use 20 mg/ml. Can be used for activation studies.
