Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

CD81 antibody was raised against oCI-LY8 cells aggregated by 5A6 (another CD81 antibody).
Recognizes human CD81. Species cross-reactivity: Chimpanzee.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin), and Immunoprecipitation. Flow Cytometry: 1:10; 10 ul labels 10^6 cells in 100ul.
PBS, pH 7.4, No preservatives added
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid freeze-thaw cycles, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for up to 1 year at -20°C.
CD81 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins.
