The mouse monoclonal antibody 29E.2A3 recognizes CD274 / PD-L1 (also known as B7-H1), a 40 kDa type I transmembrane protein expressed by dendritic cells, activated T cells, activated monocytes, and in various tissues, above all in heart and skeletal muscle, placenta and lung, and in many cancer cells, including T cell lymphomas, melanomas, and glioblastomas.
