Sf 21-derived Recombinant, human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta (MIP1 beta, CCL4).
Recognizes Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta (MIP1 beta). based on ELISA and Western Blot data, <10% cross-reactivity with mouse MIP-1b, human MIP-1b, human MCP-2 and <5% cross-reactivity with mouse MIP-1b. <1% cross-reactivity with other chemokines tested.
Suitable for use in neutralization of bioactivity, ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Neutralization: 0.3-1.5 ug/ml in the presence of 0.04 ug/ml of rhMIP-1b, using the BaF/3 hCCR5 transfected cell chemotaxis assay. In chemotaxis assays, this antibody will neutralize the biological activity of human MIP-1b and mouse MIP-1b at a 25-fold higher IgG concentration. Will not neutralize the biological activity of mouse MIP1b. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human MIP-1b. The detection limit is ~0.3 ng/well. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. The detection limit is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: 0.5-5 ug/ml in cultured cells or tissue. sections.
