CAPG antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-KAQVEIVTDGEEP from an internal region of human CAPG / MCP (NP_001738.2). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Ferret, Elephant, Panda, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Guinea pig (100%); Mouse, Rat, Sheep, Bovine, Platypus (92%).

Human CAPG / MCP. This antibody is expected to recognize isoform 1 (NP_001738.2) only. Reported variants represent identical protein: NP_001243068.1, NP_001738.2.
Usage
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000. Western blot: Approx 38kD band observed in lysates of cell line U937 and of Human Spleen (calculated MW of 38.5kD according to NP_001738.2). In Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes, the observed band runs as ~40kD. Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 ug/ml.
