Specificity
Recognizes mouse BMP4. Recognizes human and mouse BMP4 in both reduced and non-reduced conditions. Does not cross-react with human BMP2 or human TGF-b1. Species cross-reactivity: human and rat.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot (Reduced and Non-reduced): Using osteoinductive cells, i. e. BFP and Saos-2. Immunocytochemistry: Using osteoinductive cells, i. e. BFP and Saos-2. Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:2.5 with autoclave/citrate buffer antigen retrieval. Demonstrates the presence of BMP4 in developmental bone formation in human embryo growth plate and the alveolar bone of rat embryo. Positive control: Mouse brain extract.
