Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to cleavage site (59/60) of mouse BID.
Specificity
Recognizes the 15kD fragment of mouse BH3 interacting domain death agonist (BID), a product of caspase-8 cleavage during apoptosis. It does not recognize the full length mouse BID or cleaved human BID. Species sequence homology: human (75%), rat (100%), chicken (62%).
Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000. At 0.5 ug/ml, the dilution provides 100 ml working solution, which at 10 ml/blot allows 10 blots to be performed. Positive control: TNFa treated mouse L929 cells.
Presentation
Dulbecco's PBS (without Mg2+, Ca2+), pH 7.2, 1% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Storage
