BAD antibody was raised against full-length murine Bad containing a N-terminal His6-tag.

Specificity
Recognizes human Bad, Mr 23kD, and mouse Bad, Mr 31kD. Occasionally a Mr 14kD protein is detected in human lysates.
Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3293 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3293 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Western Blot: Proteins were visualized using IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system. The endogenous level of Bad in most lysates is below the detectable limits of this antibody. Immunoprecipitation: 4 ug immunoprecipitates Bad which was subsequently detected using anti-phospho Bad.
