Immunohistochemistry Services

Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

TCR Screening Services

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

  • Western blot
  • Immunoprecipitation (1:5000 - 1:15000) & (3 - 8 µg/ml)
  • (applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Immunogen
A synthetic peptide derived from a sequence between amino acids 500-550 of the human ATRIP protein (aka TREX1) [Gene ID 11277].
Epitope
aa500-550
Specificity
Reacts with human ATRIP. Other species have not been tested. Reactivity with lower primates is unlikely owing to sequence divergence at the site to which the immunogen epitope maps.
Usage
This antibody may be used for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. Immunohisto/cytochemistry have not been tested using this antibody.

Immunohistochemical analysis of ATRIP staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
