An 18 amino acid synthetic peptide within the N-Terminus domain of rat Aquaporin-7 (1) was selected for antibody production. This domain is predicted to be cytoplasmic.

Specificity
Species cross-reactivity: Rat. The peptide has 81% homology with the mouse Aquaporin-7 but species reactivity has not been tested. The peptide is unique to Aquaporin-7 without significant homology to any other Aquaporins.

- Western blot (1 - 10 µg/ml)
- ELISA (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
Usage
Western blot: 1-10 ug/ml using Chemiluminescence technique ELISA: 0.5-1.0 ug/ml when tested against 1 ug/ml of the immunogen peptide. Immunohistochemistry: Not tested. We recommend using the affinity purified antibody at 2-10 ug/ml in paraformaldehyde fixed sections of tissues.
