Recognizes human b-amyloid precursor protein (b-APP695) that has a predicted amino acid sequence length of 695. There are 3 known b-APP proteins (b APP695, b APP751, b APP770) thought to be the source of amyloid b-peptide. Recognizes an epitope within the first 200 amino acids in the b-APP amino terminus This antibody will react with all 3 forms.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and ELISA. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded tissues): 5-10 ug/ml. Suitable for immunohistochemical staining of alcohol-fixed paraffin-embedded or frozen tissue sections. Other fixatives may also work following formic acid treatment. Western Blot: 0.5-1.0 ug/ml. ELISA: 0.1-0.5 ug/ml.
