Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Anti-ZIC2 Antibody - Western Blot. Western blot of Affinity Purified anti-ZIC2 antibody shows detection of a band ~55 kD (arrowhead) corresponding to ZIC2 in lysates from (lane 1) mouse brain and (lane 2) rat brain. Approximately 20 ug of each lysate was run on a SDS-PAGE and transferred onto nitrocellulose followed by reaction with a 1:500 dilution of anti-ZIC2 antibody. Signal was detected using standard techniques. The upper band in the mouse brain lysate represents Zic2.

Product Description

ZIC2 antibody LS-C30460 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to ZIC2 from human, monkey and pig. Validated for IHC and WB.
About ZIC2
Acts as a transcriptional activator or repressor. Plays important roles in the early stage of organogenesis of the CNS. Activates the transcription of the serotonin transporter SERT in uncrossed ipsilateral retinal ganglion cells (iRGCs) to refine eye-specific projections in primary visual targets. Its transcriptional activity is repressed by MDFIC. Involved in the formation of the ipsilateral retinal projection at the optic chiasm midline. O95409 NM_007129 NP_009060.2
