ZAP70 antibody was raised against bacterially expressed fusion protein corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Zap-70.
Recognizes human ZAP-70, a 70kD tyrosine protein kinase which associates with the T-cell receptor (TCR) zeta chain and undergoes phosphorylation following TCR stimulation. ZAP-70 is primarily expressed in T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, where it plays a key role in T-cell receptor (TCR) signalling. Recent studies suggest that ZAP-70 is also expressed in a population of normal immature B-cells and in B-cells from a sub-set of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 ul. Membrane permeabilization is required for this application. Western Blot: detects a band of approximately 70kD.
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
