  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

XRN1 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide, mapping to a region between residue 1650 and the C-terminus (residue 1706) of human 5'-3' Exoribonuclease 1 using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q6MZS8 (GeneID 54464).
Specific for human XRN1/SEP1. Reactivity with mouse XRN1 is expected owing to identity of sequence between this ortholog and human XRN1 at the site to which the epitope maps.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.

Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer [pH 7-8], 0.09% sodium azide
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
For research use only.

About XRN1

Q8IZH2 AL133623 Q8IZH2

XRN1 Antibody, 5'-3' exoribonuclease 1 Antibody, 5-3 exoribonuclease 1 Antibody, SEP1 Antibody

XRN1 is a member of the 5'-3' exonuclease family. The encoded protein may be involved in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation, and interacts directly with the enhancer of mRNA-decapping protein 4. In addition to mRNA metabolism, a similar protein in yeast has been implicated in a variety of nuclear and cytoplasmic functions, including homologous recombination, meiosis, telomere maintenance, and microtubule assembly.
