Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
XRCC3 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminus of human XRCC3 protein.
Reacts with a 32 kDa protein, known as XRCC3 (X-Ray Cross Complementing 3). XRCC3 is essential for repairing the double strand DNA breaks by homologous recombination between sister chromatids. It is homologous to Rad1. Five human homologues of RAD 51; XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, interact among themselves to form one big complex or several smaller complexes.

XRCC3 Antibody, DNA repair protein XRCC3 Antibody, CMM6 AntibodyInvolved in the homologous recombination repair (HRR) pathway of double-stranded DNA, thought to repair chromosomal fragmentation, translocations and deletions. Part of the RAD21 paralog protein complex CX3 which acts in the BRCA1-BRCA2-dependent HR pathway. Upon DNA damage, CX3 acts downstream of RAD51 recruitment; the complex binds predominantly to the intersection of the four duplex arms of the Holliday junction (HJ) and to junctions of replication forks.
