  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

XRCC3 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminus of human XRCC3 protein.
Reacts with a 32 kDa protein, known as XRCC3 (X-Ray Cross Complementing 3). XRCC3 is essential for repairing the double strand DNA breaks by homologous recombination between sister chromatids. It is homologous to Rad1. Five human homologues of RAD 51; XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D, interact among themselves to form one big complex or several smaller complexes.

About XRCC3

O43542 NM_005432 NP_005423.1

XRCC3 Antibody, DNA repair protein XRCC3 Antibody, CMM6 Antibody

Involved in the homologous recombination repair (HRR) pathway of double-stranded DNA, thought to repair chromosomal fragmentation, translocations and deletions. Part of the RAD21 paralog protein complex CX3 which acts in the BRCA1-BRCA2-dependent HR pathway. Upon DNA damage, CX3 acts downstream of RAD51 recruitment; the complex binds predominantly to the intersection of the four duplex arms of the Holliday junction (HJ) and to junctions of replication forks.
