Synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region of human Wnt1 protein.

Specificity
This antibody reacts with human and mouse Wnt1 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Wnt1 from mouse, human, rat, bovine, dog, macaque, opossum and rat based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Partial cross-reactivity is expected against chicken Wnt1 based on a 91% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with Wnt1 from other sources has not been determined.

Usage
This protein-A purified antibody has been tested for use western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 41 kD in size corresponding to Wnt1 by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
