Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Monkey (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Paraffin (3 - 5 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
VPAC2 / VIPR2 antibody was raised against synthetic 16 amino acid peptide from C-terminus of human VIPR2. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Gibbon, Monkey (94%); Marmoset (88%).
LS-E28224 - Liquid - 50 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-A1305. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Human VIPR2. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.
PBS, less than 0.1% sodium azide.
Aliquot and store undiluted at -20°C or below for up to 1 year. Can be stored undiluted at 4°C for up to 1 month. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
VPAC2 / VIPR2 is a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide, a small neuropeptide. Vasoactive intestinal peptide is involved in smooth muscle relaxation, exocrine and endocrine secretion, and water and ion flux in lung and intestinal epithelia. Its actions are effected through integral membrane receptors associated with a guanine nucleotide binding protein which activates adenylate cyclase.
