Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Monkey, Bat, Bovine, Dog, Horse, Pig, Rabbit
Human, Monkey, Bat, Bovine, Dog, Horse, Pig, Rabbit (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Chicken, Zebrafish (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
Western blot (1 - 3 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
VDAC2+3 antibody was raised against amino acids 120-132 (KKSGKIKSSYKRE)of human VDAC2 protein were used as the immunogen. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Elephant, Panda, Horse, Rabbit, Pig (100%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus, Zebrafish (92%); Salmon, Pufferfish (85%).
PBS, 0.05% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide
Store at 4°C, stable for 6 months. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Western blot of VDAC2/3 in human brain cell lysate in the A) absence and B) presence of immunizing peptide using LS-C148314 at 2 ug/ml. The approximately 55 kD band is not blocked by the immunizing peptide and is believed to result from non-specific cross-reaction.
