Specificity and Use
USP2 antibody was raised against 14-aa peptide from Mouse UCP2 - KLH.
This peptide sequence is used when generating the antibody and has no significant homology with UPC1 or UPC3. Predicted cross reactivity is based on rat, hamster at 100% and human, pig, bovine, canine at 86%.
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Deubiquitinates MDM2 without reversing MDM2-mediated p53/TP53 ubiquitination and thus indirectly promotes p53/TP53 degradation and limits p53 activity. Has no deubiquitinase activity against p53/TP53. Prevents MDM2-mediated degradation of MDM4.
