A 19 aa peptide sequence near N-Terminus of mouse Tubby (505 aa ; 2-20 aa) (1). Peptide was coupled to KLH.
Epitope
N-Terminus
Specificity
The mouse peptide is 100% homologous with human tubby (506 aa). No homology is seen with Agouti, AGRP, TULP1 and TULP2. Antibody cross-reactivity in various species is not known. Control peptides, because of their low MW (<3kD), are not suitable for Western. It should be used for ELISA or antibody blocking to confirm antibody specificity.

- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 for neat serum and 1-10 ug/ml for affinity pure using ECL. ELISA: 1:10000-1:50000 using 50-100 ng control peptide/well.
