  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

LS-E27765 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C154893. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Human TSH Receptor. This antibody is expected to recognize reported isoform 1 (NP_000360.2) and isoform 2 (NP_001018046.1). The immunizing peptide sequence corresponds to a part of the extracellular domain.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western blot: Approx 28kD band observed in Human Thyroid Gland lysates (calculated MW of 28.4kD according to NP_001018046.1). Recommended concentration: 0.5-2 ug/ml.

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide
Store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

About TSH Receptor / TSHR

P16473 NM_000369 NP_000360.2

TSHR Antibody, CHNG1 Antibody, HTSHR-I Antibody, LGR3 Antibody, Thyrotrophin receptor Antibody, TSH-R Antibody, TSH receptor Antibody, Thyrotropin receptor Antibody

Thyrotropin Receptor, a Glycoprotein Hormone Receptor, plays a central role in controlling thyroid cell metabolism. The TSH receptor can interact with both TSH and autoantibodies against the TSH receptor (thyroid-stimulating immunoglobulins, TSI). Mutations in the receptor are the cause for hyperthyroidism such as gestational hyperthyroidism (hypersensitivity to chorionic gonadotropin) and Grave's disease (autoimmune hyperthyroidism).

Western blot

Western blot
TSHR antibody (0.5 ug/ml) staining of Human Thyroid gland lysate (35 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
