About TRPC1
Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. TRPC1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide NLKQKRDENYQK from internal region of human TRPC1 (NP_003295.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Elephant, Panda, Dog, Bovine, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus, Lizard, Pufferfish (100%); Bat, Trout, Seabass, Stickleback, Zebrafish (92%); Xenopus (83%).

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B4119 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B4119 was determined to be 3.75 ug/ml.
