Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
TPMT is the enzyme that metabolizes thiopurine drugs via S-adenosyl-L-methionine as the S-methyl donor and S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine as a byproduct. Thiopurine drugs such as 6-mercaptopurine are used as chemotherapeutic agents. Genetic polymorphisms that affect this enzymatic activity are correlated with variations in sensitivity and toxicity to such drugs within individuals, causing thiopurine S-methyltransferase deficiency. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 3, 18 and X.
Anti-TPMT antibody IHC staining of human thyroid. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B10634 concentration 10 ug/ml. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Western blot of Thiopurine S-methyltransferase antibody at 2 ug/ml. Lane 1: EC109 whole cell lysate. Lane 2: 293T whole cell lysate. Secondary: Goat polyclonal to Rabbit IgG at 1:15000 dilution. Predicted band size: 27 kDa. Observed band size: 27 kDa Additional bands at: 90 kDa, 100 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
