  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TP73 / p73 antibody was raised against full-length human p73. The epitope is thought to lie around the center of the molecule. It reacts with alpha, beta, gamma and delta isoforms of mouse and human p73 as well as the dominant negative p73 (Costanzo, et al, 2002). Because of its reactivity pattern it may be regarded as anti-pan p73. The antibody does not cross react with p53.
It reacts with alpha, beta, gamma and delta isoforms of mouse and human p73 as well as the dominant negative p73 (Costanzo, et al, 2002). Because of its reactivity pattern it may be regarded as anti-pan p73. Immunoprecipitation details can be found in Sayan et al (2005). This has been shown to recongize all the known alternative splicing variants of human and mouse p73 (Costanzo et al, 2002). Does not cross react with p53.

About TP73 / p73

O15350 NM_005427 NP_005418.1

TP73 Antibody, p53-like transcription factor Antibody, p73 Antibody, p53-related protein Antibody, Tumor protein p73 Antibody

This gene encodes tumor protein p73, which is a member of the p53 family of transcription factors involved in cellular responses to stress and development. The family members include p53, p63, and p73 and have high sequence similarity to one another, which allows p63 and p73 to transactivate p53-responsive genes causing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
