Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

TP53 / p53 antibody was raised against recombinant human p53 ( AA 20-25 ).
Recognizes the human p53 tumor suppressor protein, also known as cellular tumor antigen p53 or NY-CO-13. Clone DO-1 binds to both wild type and mutant forms of the p53 protein found in various malignancies. p53 is important in multicellular organisms, where it regulates cell cycle progression to allow DNA repair or apoptosis in the case of irreparably damaged cells and thus functions as a tumor suppressor that is involved in preventing cancer. Mutations in the p53 gene are found in about half the cases of human cancerrecognizes an epitope at the N-terminal end of p53 between amino acids 20-25, common to isoforms 1-3 of p53.
Immunohistology: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. We recommend the use of 0.01 M citrate buffer for this purpose.
PBS, 0.09% Sodium Azide
Store at 4°C or -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

About TP53 / p53
Acts as a tumor suppressor in many tumor types; induces growth arrest or apoptosis depending on the physiological circumstances and cell type. Involved in cell cycle regulation as a trans-activator that acts to negatively regulate cell division by controlling a set of genes required for this process. One of the activated genes is an inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases. P04637 NM_000546 NP_000537.3
