  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TNNI2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide KRNRAITARRQHLKS-C from the N-terminus of human TNNI2 (NP_003273.1; NP_001139313.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Guinea pig, Armadillo (100%); Bat, Bovine, Pig (93%); Turkey, Zebra finch, Chicken, Lizard (87%).
LS-E28074 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C186614. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Human TNNI2. This antibody is expected to recognize both reported isoforms (NP_003273.1; NP_001139313.1). Reported variants represent identical protein: NP_001139301.1, NP_003273.1.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000. Western blot: Approx 25kD band observed in Human, Mouse and Rat Skeletal Muscle lysates (calculated MW of 21.3kD according to NP_003273.1). Recommended concentration: 0.03-0.1 ug/ml.

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide

TNNI2 Antibody, AMCD2B Antibody, DA2B Antibody, FSSV Antibody, FsTnI Antibody, Troponin I fast twitch 2 Antibody, Troponin I, skeletal, fast Antibody

TNNI2 is a fast-twitch skeletal muscle protein, a member of the troponin I gene family, and a component of the troponin complex including troponin T, troponin C and troponin I subunits. The troponin complex, along with tropomyosin, is responsible for the calcium-dependent regulation of striated muscle contraction. Mouse studies show that this component is also present in vascular smooth muscle and may play a role in regulation of smooth muscle function.

Western blot

Western blot
TNNI2 antibody (0.03 ug/ml) staining of Human (A), Mouse(B) and Rat (C) Skeletal Muscle lysate (35 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
