  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TNFRSF10B / Killer / DR5 antibody was raised against mouse TNFRSF10B
The MD5-1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse DR5-transfected cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at +4°C. Do not freeze. Product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.

About TNFRSF10B / Killer / DR5

O14763 NM_147187 Q6FH58

TNFRSF10B Antibody, Cytotoxic TRAIL receptor-2 Antibody, CD262 antigen Antibody, DR5 Antibody, Death receptor 5 Antibody, KILLER Antibody, TRAIL-R2 Antibody, TRICK2B Antibody, TRAILR2 Antibody, TRICK2A Antibody, TRICKB Antibody, TRICK2 Antibody, CD262 Antibody, Fas-like protein Antibody, TRAIL receptor 2 Antibody, ZTNFR9 Antibody

Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand in the TNF family through their death domain containing receptors. TRAIL/Apo2L is a new member of the TNF family. DR4 was recently identified as the receptor for TRAIL. A novel death domain containing receptor for TRAIL was more recently identified and designated DR5, Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, or KILLER by several groups independently.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of mouse DR5 transfected BHK cells with 0.125 ug PE Golden Syrian hamster isotype control (open histogram) or 0.125 ug PE anti-mouse DR5 (MD5-1) (colored histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of non-transfected BHK cells with 0.125 ug PE Golden Syrian hamster isotype control (open histogram) or 0.125 ug PE anti-mouse DR5 (MD5-1) (colored histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis.
