  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TM2D1 / BBP antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal region of the human Beta-amyloid peptide binding protein (BBP).
Recognizes the human BBP proteins On Western blots, it identifies up to three bands at ~35kD, ~45kD, and ~50kD. The multiple bands may be due to various glycosylation sites and/or isoforms. Reactivity has been confirmed with human NGP neuroblastoma cell lysates, placental homogenates, and mouse and rat brain homogenates. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse and rat.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml. Immunoprecipitation (native): 7 ug/reaction.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only.

TM2D1 Antibody, Beta-amyloid-binding protein Antibody, BBP Antibody, TM2 domain containing 1 Antibody, HBBP Antibody

TM2D1 / BBP is a beta-amyloid peptide-binding protein. It contains a structural module related to that of the seven transmembrane domain G protein-coupled receptor superfamily and known to be important in heterotrimeric G protein activation. Beta-amyloid peptide has been established to be a causative factor in neuron death and the consequent diminution of cognitive abilities observed in Alzheimer's disease.
