Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TLR6 antibody was raised against human TLR6
This hPer6 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of human MEG-01 cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C, avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
For research use only.

About TLR6

Q9Y2C9 NM_006068 NP_006059.2

TLR6 Antibody, CD286 antigen Antibody, CD286 Antibody, Toll-like receptor 6 Antibody

Participates in the innate immune response to Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. Specifically recognizes diacylated and, to a lesser extent, triacylated lipopeptides. Acts via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Recognizes mycoplasmal macrophage-activating lipopeptide-2kD (MALP-2), soluble tuberculosis factor (STF), phenol-soluble modulin (PSM) and B.burgdorferi outer surface protein A lipoprotein (OspA-L) cooperatively with TLR2.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of MEG-01 cells with 0.25 ug of Purified Rat IgG2a isotype control (open histogram) or 0.25 ug of Purified hPer6 (colored histogram) followed by Biotin Anti-Rat IgG and Streptavidin-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis.
