Specificity and Use
Recognizes human TLR3 (CD283).
Can be used for intracellular Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Furthermore the antibody is useful for in vitro inhibition by the ligand poly (I): poly (C). Flow Cytometry: 1:10. Western Blot: 1:10. For inhibition studies dilutions have to be made according to the amounts ligand to be inactivated.

TLR3 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity.
