Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Paraffin
Western blot (1 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
TIMP1 antibody was raised against recombinant human TIMP1.
Reacts with bovine TIMP-1. Cross-reacts with human TIMP-1. Does not react with mouse or rat TIMP-1.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded tissues): 5-10 ug/ml using PLP fixation. Not tested on formalin fixed tissues.
Metalloproteinase inhibitor that functions by forming one to one complexes with target metalloproteinases, such as collagenases, and irreversibly inactivates them by binding to their catalytic zinc cofactor. Acts on MMP1, MMP2, MMP3, MMP7, MMP8, MMP9, MMP10, MMP11, MMP12, MMP13 and MMP16. Does not act on MMP14. Also functions as a growth factor that regulates cell differentiation, migration and cell death and activates cellular signaling cascades via CD63 and ITGB1.
