Specificity and Use
Recognizes Thy-1.1 and Thy-1.2 alloantigens (Thy-1 epitope region A).
Flow cytometry. Immunocytochemistry (acetone-fixed, frozen sections). In vitro T cell activation. Induction of apoptosis. Flow Cytometry: 1 ug/1E6 cells. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

THY1 or CD90 is a 25–37 kDa heavily N-glycosylated, glycophosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchored conserved cell surface protein with a single V-like immunoglobulin domain, originally discovered as a thymocyte antigen. Thy-1 can be used as a marker for a variety of stem cells and for the axonal processes of mature neurons.
