  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Thromboxane A2 Receptor antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to C-terminal aa 323-343 of human thromboxane A2 receptor (TP Receptor).
Recognizes human TP Receptor. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse, rat and Cos-7 (African green monkey).
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2465 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2465 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Lyophilized from TBS, pH 7.4
1 ea 500 µl sterile ddH2O
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Further dilutions can be made in buffer.

TBXA2R Antibody, BDPLT13 Antibody, Prostanoid TP receptor Antibody, Txa2 receptor Antibody, Thromboxane A2 receptor Antibody, TXA2-R Antibody

The thromboxane A2 receptor (TBXA2R) is a member of the Prostanoid Receptor subfamily. TBXA2R performs an essential role in hemostasis by interacting with thromboxane A2 to induce platelet aggregation. Thromboxane A2 has been implicated in myocardial infarct, stroke, and asthma. Additionally, thromboxane-prostanoid receptors have been implicated in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. Changes in TBXA2R function have also been linked to a hereditary bleeding disorder.

Anti-TBXA2R antibody IHC of human placenta. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2465 concentration 5 ug/ml.
