Recognizes a glycoprotein designated TGN38 that is found primarily in the Trans-Golgi network, and has been found to be an excellent marker for this cellular organelle. TGN38 is likely to have a role in intracellular transport. It is the homologue of human TGN46.

Immunofluorescence: Fixation with 3% paraformaldehyde or methanol is recommended.
