Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TGFB4 / LEFTY2 antibody was raised against recombinant form of 6X HIS tagged human LEFTY.
Recognizes 6X His tagged human LEFTY at 30kD. No reactivity occurs against 6X HIS tag. Significant sequence homology exists between the human and mouse forms of LEFTY. Species sequence homology: mouse and rat.
ELISA: 1:5000. Western Blot: 1:2000, at RT for 30 min followed by detection using IgG (H&L) (IRDye800) GtxMo.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins added.
Short term: 4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.

TGFB4 / LEFTY2 is a member of the TGF-beta family of proteins. The encoded protein is secreted and plays a role in left-right asymmetry determination of organ systems during development. The protein may also play a role in endometrial bleeding. Mutations in this gene have been associated with left-right axis malformations, particularly in the heart and lungs. Some types of infertility have been associated with dysregulated expression of this gene in the endometrium.
