Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein A purified
IHC - Paraffin
IHC - Frozen
Specificity and Use
TACSTD1 / EPCAM antibody was raised against epithelium-Specific Cell Surface Glycoprotein.
Reacts with a human surface glycoprotein of approximately 35kD. All carcinoma cell lines tested are positive with strong reactivity for colon lines HT-29, WiDr and SW1116.
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry: Formalin fixed, paraffin wax embedded tissues, provided short term formalin fixation is used (few hours). Subsequent trypsin treatment improves staining in a peroxidase test. Also suitable for use with frozen tissue sections.
50 µl deionized water
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
May act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E.
