Specificity and Use
TACSTD1 / EPCAM antibody was raised against hT-29 colon carcinoma cell line.
Antigen Recognized in Human Species (tested so far). Cell Lines (tested so far) with colon carcinoma cell lines (HT-29, WiDr, SW1116). Recognizes the epithelial cell adhesion molecule Ep-CAM (also described as 17-1A antigen or EPG34).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence microscopy, Immunohistochemistry. Suitable for frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue, cell sorting, cytological material. Pretreatment With paraffin embedded sections, protease pretreatment is required prior to antibody application. Immunohistochemistry: 1:10 with PBS, pH 7.4; Incubation Time 1 h at RT; extended with paraffin.
