Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1 Monoclonal [VU1D9]
IHC - Paraffin (10 µg/ml)
IHC - Frozen (1:25 - 1:200)
Western blot (1:100 - 1:1000)
Flow Cytometry (1:25 - 1:200)
Specificity and Use
TACSTD1 / EPCAM antibody was raised against nCI-H69 small cell lung carcinoma cell line
Reacts with the first EGF repeat in the extracellular domain of Ep-CAM. The epitope is sensitive for reducing agents. Detects Ep-CAM in most simple, pseudostratified and transitional epithelia and in the majority of human carcinomas.
Western blots should be carried out under non-reducing conditions.
PBS containing 0.09% sodium azide
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles. Store undiluted.
May act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E.
