Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About SUV420H1

Q4FZB7 NM_017635 NP_060105.3

SUV420H1 Antibody, CGI-85 Antibody, CGI85 Antibody, KMT5B Antibody, Lysine N-methyltransferase 5B Antibody, Su(var)4-20 homolog 1 Antibody, Suv4-20h1 Antibody

Histone methyltransferase that specifically trimethylates 'Lys-20' of histone H4. H4 'Lys-20' trimethylation represents a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional repression. Mainly functions in pericentric heterochromatin regions, thereby playing a central role in the establishment of constitutive heterochromatin in these regions. SUV420H1 is targeted to histone H3 via its interaction with RB1 family proteins (RB1, RBL1 and RBL2) (By similarity).

Western blot

Western blot
SUV4-20H1 Antibody western blot of HepG2 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The SUV4-20H1 antibody detected the SUV4-20H1 protein (arrow).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of lysates from HT-29, PC-3 cell line (from left to right), using SUV4-20H1 Antibody. Antibody was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:10000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysates at 35ug per lane.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
SUV4-20H1 Antibody flow cytometry of HepG2 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
