Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
Substance P antibody was raised against synthetic Substance P coupled to KLH.
Substance P occurs in nerve fibers of the central and peripheral nervous system and in endocrine cells of the gut. Substance P containing nerve fibers in the gut wall are particularly numerous in the myenteric plexus and the smooth muscle layers. Substance P containing tumors arising in the ileum are often associated with the "carcinoid syndrome", characterized by flushing of the skin, diarrhea, bronchoconstriction and sudden drops in blood pressure. Substance P is commonly found in midgut carcinoids and some of the symptoms may be related to this peptide. This antibody is reactive in human and rat. Immunogen: Synthetic Substance P coupled to KLH.
Detection of Substance P by immunohistochemistry. This antibody can be used for the diagnosis of ileum carcinoids. Instructions for use This antibody is suitable for frozen sections. Advised working dilution: 1:50, based on the Indirect method, with a normal ABC method the dilution can be 5-10 times higher, but the optimal dilution should be tested by serial dilution. Dilute immediately before use with PBS or Tris.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.
