Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:1000 - 1:10000)
Specificity and Use
STK26 / MST4 antibody was raised against the epitope recognized maps to a region between residue 375 and the C-terminus (residue 416) of human Mammalian Ste20-like Kinase 4 (Mst3 and SOK1-related kinase) using the numbering given in entry NP_057626.2 (GeneID 51765).
Species cross-reactivity: This antibody cross-reacts with human. Other species have not been tested.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:10000.
STK26 / MST4 is a member of the GCK group III family of kinases, which are a subset of the Ste20-like kinases. The encoded protein contains an amino-terminal kinase domain, and a carboxy-terminal regulatory domain that mediates homodimerization. The protein kinase localizes to the Golgi apparatus and is specifically activated by binding to the Golgi matrix protein GM130. It is also cleaved by caspase-3 in vitro, and may function in the apoptotic pathway.
