Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
STAT6 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of human STAT6 phosphorylated at Tyr641.
Species cross-reactivity: Human. Recognizes human STAT6 phosphorylated at Tyr641. Does not cross-react with the non-phosphorylated form of STAT6 or with unrelated phosphorylation sites. Detects a band of ~97kD by Western Blot.
ELISA. Western Blot. Positive control: Yes.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
STAT6 is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. This protein plays a central role in exerting IL4 mediated biological responses. It is found to induce the expression of BCL2L1/BCL-X(L), which is responsible for the anti-apoptotic activity of IL4.
